Quarterback and Free Safety and Punter on 4A high school football team.  Earned Honors & Awards as Punter and Quarterback. As a senior lead team to its first playoff game in 25 years.

Recruited by Jimmie Johnson, Lou Holtz, Barry Switzer, Ken Hatfield, Dennis Green.

Earned position on the Texas All-Stars Oil Bowl team. Played quarterback against Oklahoma All-Stars.

Accepted football scholarship to play quarterback at the AP No. 2 team in the country.  Worked with Forrest Gregg on strategy and techniques.  Also worked with Pro-Bowl athletes- Eric Dickerson, Michael Carter, Russell Carter, Jerry Ball, and other pro football players: Dale Hellestrae, Reggie Phillips, Reggie Dupard, Ron Morris, Dave Richards, Terrance Mann, Brandy Brownlee, Don King, Gabriel De La Garza, Rod Jones, Joe Phillips, Steve Pelluer, Bill Jones.  Other college players including: Lance McIlhenney, Jeff Atkins, Jeffery Jacobs, Fred Nichols, Andrew Livingston, Craig Kennington, John Stollenwerck, Bobby Waters,  Bart Beavers, Elmer Thomas, Coby Morrison, Toby Watts, Mark Maddox.

Made final cut to participate as athletic quarterback double for Movie 'Any Given Sunday'

Coached Pop Warner Football since 1999.  Given Individual instruction since 1984.
